If I was to introduce my 10yo bike mad boy to road racing, where to start?

He rides MX. Currently 65 cc, next year we will move up to 85cc and senior tracks. Is average but likes it. He has indicated that he would like to try RR. I know about bucket racing but not sure if it would suit? Is there any other place to start a young chap? And what would be a good beginner bike for him that would be competetive in a class?

And I did read this: http://www.hawkesbaytoday.co.nz/news...glory/1300319/

May the bridges I burn light the way.

The lower age limit for buckets/ street stock is 13, there is a junior "training" class which starts a bit younger but i dont think it is even run up North

Tyler is a member on here and RDjase is his father, try a pm to him, he might be able to help out
