Sorry, can't recommend another company but I didn't realise any other companies other than the AA did the full licence tests. You might just have to go to the AA

Umm, AA only take bookings for the test. They don't actually run them. You can arrange it so they also provide a car, but I don't know how that works.

Want to book a test in wellington and don't want to go to AA? Try VTNZ instead. You're still looking late april/early may for a test though. Try booking online for other locations.

Yah, online is the way to go. I went out to Paraparaumu for my restricted in Feb, and there was only a few days delay. It was a nice ride too. AND you get to stop at Wendys for lunch

Did you ever get pulled up on your 250?

I went through a wof/rego checkpoint once and the cop just waived me through, fuck I felt like the man that day haha

I just got my full too, would still have the mrs on the back, I guess having it two years and never being snapped so far for anything (speeding, pavilion etc) pretty lucky!!

I found the kilbernie testers to be sweet. Just looked online for a time that suits. The kilbernie test route is also pretty easy. You just cruze around kilbernie, down to lyall bay, past the airport, through the airport, and back to kilbernie via cobham drive. Also the tester was cool about with the identify hazzards section, i went over the top, describing shingle on side of road and road works signs etc, and he just said "youre thinking about it too much, simplify"
Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which i desire
