    2009 Hyosung GT250R

    Going to have a look at one this week are they any good?
    got mixed reviews what do you guys think ?

    i think they got mixed reviews.

    Apparently if you service every 5000 and dont ride like a bitch, they wont break.

    ...as much.

    Due to your size these would be the better choice if you wanted to stick to a 250cc.
    IMO I'd go for the Comet (naked version) as it'll give you more room on the bike plus it's easy to throw some risers on it.
    As mentioned elsewhere, have a look at the LAMS approved bikes too

    I also vote lams approved. It will work out better in the long run for ya if your buying new :-)

    lots of choice out there in the LAMS stuff as well

    If you get one, keep an eye on the oil level. Even a little low and they can shit the bottom end. Do proper servicing and it should last well.

    Seriously though Mate has a 07 hyo 250 hasn't had any problems with a regular service and stuff.

    Ive got an '09 Hyosung gt250r, I reckon its a decent bike to start with.

    I bought it today buddy, the black beauty goes like a dream and bugger all km, screaming demon pipe included, sounds, rides and looks great, its a rather big bike for a 250cc ae.
