    How far distance wise do you reckon that 30 mins each way is? and does anyone have a GPS track of it?

    I thought the station was Black Birch Station?

    Mt Horrible is/was near Timaru?

    Free Open project GPS maps indicate there's also a Mt Horrible off the left of Tophouse road not far up from the bottom

    4 or 5 kms each way....Its a hard one to estamate as the track is a zigzag
    apart from the top section along the ridge..
