Back on the road or track bike?
I took out the RF900R for a wee pootle down to White Trash's place this morning. Bless it, the bike's been sitting in the gargre for nearly 9 months and still started in less than 30 seconds, and still handles beautifully. Drew took it out for a ride and he's confirmed that the gearbox problem is indeed identical to his one, which means it's fixable by undercutting the dogs.
So, decisions... do I fix the gearbox and then spend some $$$ (but mostly time) on getting the bodywork perfect so I have another minter bike or do I turn it into a track hack?
That still leaves the Katana ... what am I gonna do about that? I guess I'm committed to getting that back into good order really - there ain't that many of the Kats left.
What do the KB sages reckon?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
