I would but Mum won't let me.
It's only Rock and Roll but I like it
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Kwite white....I did the Paraparas with the missus on back about 3 weeks back. Through Feilding to Turangi - looping back. Started to drizzle on the desert and I should have listened to the little voice that said "go back..go back...you'll regret this..". But kept on - stopped at Turangi petrol station and asked the missus if she thought it best to abort as it was raining lightly but continuously now. NAHH,..carry on,..I'm good. Ohh, Ok. So,...we did and the rain gradually got worse and worse. By the time we got to Ratihehehehe we were both soaked through - wearing our "waterproof" codura jackets (Tui comment). Stopped in a cafe for 30 mins and stripped off the jackets and wet stuff and shivered over coffees. Carried on and the rain was still constant. It was a bastard through the rest. Visor kept misting and rain wasn't wiping off, urban assault vehicles snapping at our heels wanting to pass....slippery mud coated roads. It was damned awful. Got to Wangaz...in the sunshine and I was cold to the bone. Short 50mins home to a hot shower.
Missus reckons it was a fun ride - gotta do it again on a nice day. I agree. Like the twisties..but Paraparas on a big wet are not for me again.
Cornering lines are another big thing to work on for a new rider.
Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
