    Suspension tuning in Christchurch?

    Hi There
I've had a 2007 yamaha FZ1 for close to a year now and i really like it, but I would like to get the suspension tuned for me to make it even better. I don't ride all that hard and I don't do track days so I'm not intent on buying aftermarket suspension bits (ohlins shocks etc) for it, they 'd probably be a waste of money for someone like me! But I figure I may aswell get the stock suspension working the best it can for me. I'm a big fella (6ft 3 and 140kg's) so i can imagine i may have to buy heavier springs, but i really need some advice on this before spending any money.

anyone got any ideas as to who i should approach?

    cheers

Go see Red (Pete Fenton) at RRR Superbikes. He is very handy with setting up suspension and is a big fella himself (not fat, ex-body builder) so could probably pass on some relevant tips.

Only heard good things about Pete, and he would be a similar size so that could be even more helpful?

Tracking him down can be an issue: he spends a lot of time out of this town running racing teams. Definitely phone him first!

He's been trying to be there as much as possible recently but as the season is over now he should be on deck more often.
