My Mum has mothered several big boys who own proper motorcycles - I think she'd laugh at a young weasel like you on a toy bike.Originally Posted by k14

When I was looking for something for the front of the Tedium (18"), I was told you could run a rear 120 or 130 Pirelli Scorpion backwards.Originally Posted by NordieBoy
Edit: Conti do make a 120/90x17 and a 130/80x17 rear. Would they work?
What did you think of the TDM and would it be OK 2 up as a gentle paced touring bike? There are a few cheap (ish) Tigers about but for people of modest means they could be expensive to run?Originally Posted by Oscar

The TDM is great two up, 'cause it's so smooth and torquey.Originally Posted by Paul in NZ
It'll sit on slightly extra-legal speeds all day.
In this class (call them "Adventurer Tourers") - depending on yer budget I'd say TDM's and V-Strom's are the best bang for your buck. I like Tigers, but I got an '04 Strom for the price of a five year old Triumph...
