You should ask your Mother before signing up to an big boys website though, Sonny.

My Mum has mothered several big boys who own proper motorcycles - I think she'd laugh at a young weasel like you on a toy bike.

    On the Stretch's V-strom - um prolly 90/90 X 19 front and 140ish on the back.

    On my LC4 90/90X21 and 140x18 - they're rated for 200kph.

    Bugger.
I've got a 150x17 already on the rear but it's difficult finding something to match in a 120x17 for the front.

When I was looking for something for the front of the Tedium (18"), I was told you could run a rear 120 or 130 Pirelli Scorpion backwards.

Edit: Conti do make a 120/90x17 and a 130/80x17 rear. Would they work?

What did you think of the TDM and would it be OK 2 up as a gentle paced touring bike? There are a few cheap (ish) Tigers about but for people of modest means they could be expensive to run?

The TDM is great two up, 'cause it's so smooth and torquey.
It'll sit on slightly extra-legal speeds all day.

In this class (call them "Adventurer Tourers") - depending on yer budget I'd say TDM's and V-Strom's are the best bang for your buck. I like Tigers, but I got an '04 Strom for the price of a five year old Triumph...
