i tie an empty beer crate to the back, and then hang any extra bags off the handle bars. Fit heaps of food in there (as well as a 5L jerry can)
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Less shopping, no need for a pillion seat.

    WIN!
But if you're single, who does the shopping, cooking, and cleaning?

The Feb 22 earthquake killed our car, so for about a month we had only the motorbikes and scooter to get around on. Surprisingly do-able: we were trapped in thouse for a good part of that though, but a scooter with a topbox and a pack holds a shitload of stuff (say easy a weeks worth). Plus the roads were so shitty that a motorbike to get around on was ideal

Big ass backpack. Get a good one and you can fit 2 dozen beers in there. I've also carried vacuum cleaners, computer towers, speakers by sticking them on the top of the tank and balancing them with my knees as I go round corners. Where there's a will, there's a way. Unfortunately I have a car now.

Exactly! Depending on the day you can get 3 large pizzas delivered for $23, that can last for a couple of days and then you put the box in the bin, too easy. Funnily enough, being a chef I never cook at home, so pizza is my sustenance.

If she's gonna get a scooter, then make it a Honda Gyro Canopy with a bigger than normal box, your problems are therefore solved.

Yes, I rode one, for some years, bloody useful actually, surprising the amount you can cram into one. Down side, is they only do about 35km/h :-(

Na don't trust the fat ones, they are too busy sticking their fingers in everyones food to "taste" it and not actually doing any work, whereas us skinny chefs are working hard trying to feed the fat pricks lol.

AND scooters have pretty good storage space to begin with.
