Thread: Does anybody know this bike on Trademe? Suzuki VZ800 Marauder. Buying advice needed.

    You don't have to reapply a clear coat. I stripped a lot of ally bits on my old Bandit back to bare metal, and then polished and left them bare. It just means you have to give them a polish with some Autosol every now and then to keep them looking good, because they will get manky after a while. Or just shoot some clear on them yourself. I preferred the bare ally look.

    That's funny, a friend of mine went from a 250 Volty to an 800 Marauder as well. They're good bikes as far as I remember.

    holy somkes resurrection of an old thread! I have sold it on last year just before I moved to Sydney. I'm now saving up for yamaha FZ1 in BLUE!!
