Nah watching the video the van seemed to move even further to the side of the road when the driver could see what the muppet was doing.

chances are the car driver was watching the road and not looking in hs mirror seeing whats coming up from behind, well on tight lil twistys like that i know id be looking ahead, and it would have only taken a second for the bike to reach the car so for all you know he didnt even know there was a bike there, let alone a bike tryin to pass...

You're right Dangerous, there's no need to cross the centre line, but if you're an intelligent chap who can see up the road and know there are no risks, why not?

why would intellegent people cross the white line?
