If you do the prep work well, you can apply the matte black your self with cans. Looks primo and will cost you about $40 bucks.

Nice paint job - I'd tap it.
Yeah lol I really should have took some before pictures before I painted it. This is what the bike looked like when I brought it 2 years ago, it's actually quite a good picture it was a lot more sunfaded than the picture shows. After 2 years it was practically pink and had a bit of rust on the tank, looked like shit lol. Here's a pic of when I first got it
It used to be RustyRobot's bike I'm not sure if he's still on these forums.
I've got some white 'SPADA' stickers like on the original paint job waiting to be put on but I'm still not sure whether it will look better without them or not. Thoughts anyone?
Put the original stickers on (my silly opinion)
I'm a bit fussy when looking at Spadas and even though mine was somewhat now standard, I always look for ones with original paint/headlight etc.
But, I'm weird and yes, I still want another.
Airflowe do great work.I had an arrangement with them to paint my bike each time I jumped off.
Pete has retired, but young Terry knows his stuff.
Awesome to hear some good rep for Airflowe on here. I want to add to that with my huge reccomendation. The chaps at Airflowe re-painted my bike when I was getting it back on the road, and got my the Ducati custom white with blue peal in specially as a suprise. They repaired my fuel tank which was rather Stuffed to say the least, and I couldnt tell it was the original tank. Thought it was a new one. Absolutely fantastic job with the repairs and the stunning paint job. Terry is a top bloke, and Norn - you're a bloody legend mate. Have raved about you guys to anyone who comments on my paint work. Big thumbs up!!
