    (Shouldn't mock him I suppose. There have been times when I've dropped back several metres because I didn't like the look of a load.)

    Yeah, I almost caught a paint bucket lid in the face once, came at me like a frisbee off the back of a truck while riding along in a 70km/h zone. I had the visor up too!

    Trucks with a whole lot of roofing iron etc scare the shit outa me. Either pass them ASAP or ride well back....

    i was following a truck with a rubbish skip on it a few years ago when a car windscreen flew out of it and smashed on the road in front of me

    ....often times, the lights are on and nobodies home, been there, hard to criticise, not a good thing but it happens, human shit...retro is cool but somethings gonna get ya, no matter what you partake in...I still ponder things like,'how did one of greatest road racers on the planet die on a quiet trip to the shop with his kid"...unfathomable really...shit happens...
