Yup every bike has a frame number, it is on the steering stem on the right hand side.

I've gone through all the aftermarket suppliers and they don't do listing for the 82, they start with Air filters from 84, but I am unsure if they are the same. K&N will do an after market alternative, HA-1050 (http://www.knfilters.com/air_filter/honda_xr200r.aspx

But both Whites and AMP's don't have them. RRP$106.90 and about 3.5 weeks if backordered by April 4th with AMP's, it is washable and re-usable so a good investment.
I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

Wait & see how many finish an easy trail ride, oh look there's one on tomorrow. And your going, have a look at what's around - that'll tell you. And listen to the two old blokes in the ute with you, one has been around for a while!!!!

Im lookin for an old mate. Me old XR is just fine. Apart from the petcock valve leaking when I got home tonight.

I think after the ride in may its coming apart for a frame paint and new head bearings. Maybe a rear shock rebuild and link kit.

The problem with a lot of these Chinese bikes is there made/sold as toys not serious off road weapons we Kiwi's demand and exact on them. For riding around a flat paddock they would cope OK, sustained abuse is another story. Your 30 yr old Xr will thump any Chinese brand into submission.

They look a lot like a Forza.
It is exactly the same as the base model Forza 230- not the 230f-PRO though.
its only differences are the stickers.

Price is identical- just make sure that the dealer is reputable and stocks parts.

( you know where you stand with FORZA- cos its backed by ME)
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......
