Taiwan is a fair way from Thailand, Taiwan is the land of the scooter, Thailand has a large history of producing cars, motorbikes, trucks.
China produced a bolt by bolt replica of a Boeing 707 passenger jet in the late 60's , doubt a motorbike would be a problem to them.
There are fine bikes produced in China it 's just a case of sorting the pearls from the lemons.
it would be a braver man than me to get into a chinese replica of a Boeing Jet, after seeing some of the replica bikes that come over thier, and talking to the mechainics that tried to keep great wall utes running,

the Chinese stuff has got better, but it is still buyer beware as a lot of it is still not backed up by the people that bring it in,

Meh. Last I heard the Cherry QQ sold something like 2 million. So that's not bad for one model (that apparently no one buys). In fact that is a better ratio then what Ford have.

I have mentioned this earlier (with regard to Toyota). My concern is not really the companies who recall every car they have ever made. But more the other end of the spectrum.
You know who you are Chevy & Honda. You know where your problems are.

Ah Scott where's your spirit of adventure? the 707 was taken apart and every part was cloned even to the point Boeing's people couldn't tell them apart. The Russians tried this with the Concord with there TU144 a failure which crashed on it's Western debut.
All of Europe's big car makers have plants making cars in China , Audi, Volvo, BMW etc . A genuine product made by a multinational will be ok it's the stuff copied that's having issues.

I see a 2011 forza 230 for sale on trade me for $500.00. The electric start doesn't work anymore. Wouldn't this be covered by warranty?
