I cant comment on how much difference tyres will improve handling, this one the previous owner had an ohlins fitted and the front re-tuned at CKT. I know it handles far better than a standard one, and the pevious owner traded it for an SP (ohlins forks and rear) and reckoned it was better untill he had CKT work on the SP, that now is better than mine.
    Mine doesnt like 91 or 98 .
It never idles well on 98 and has more power or 95.Mines also 09 model.Maybe they forgot to put a head gasket on yours or put 2 on mine by mistake.

Owned 7 bikes so far, none were boring. Most boring ridden would be a Suzuki GS500E. *Snore*

    Yup, I also had a CB250N.

Flogged it from Orkers to Invergiggle and back at Christmas 1982. Exciting? Not on your nellie. Flat out with luggage was maybe 120/125 indicated.

Traded up as soon as the dosh allowed, haven't had a boring bike since.

Mine didn't do that. An Ohlins and a PCIII did smooth things out, but it was never that bad.

I've ridden a variety of bikes, some were a bit ummm different(?), a DN-01 and a Goldwing come to mind, but none were boring.

I guess it's about context, ride the bike the way it was designed to be ridden. I enjoy the daily commute on my SJ50 but I'd probably get bored (and very uncomfortable) touring it. Also some of the bikes I liked at the time have less appeal now than they did back then.

With all the great bikes around at the moment there shouldn't be any real need for anyone to ride a bike they find boring. Then again, maybe it's not the bike?

Funny enough my old boy whose lack of interest in cruisers (HD in particluer) extends to contempt bought himself a Rocket III a few months back.

Strange indeed for a man who buys a brand new GSX 1000 every year without fail.

    Most boring bike I've owned?

    1998 FXDS-C.

It was over a decade between Harleys and when I finally got back in the saddle of one it was..............Meh.

On a different note the Victory I saw at the servo the other day was pure awesomeness......I want one.
