The speedo cable snapped on the way to work this morning Anyway were are the bike stores round here ? i can fix it just need the parts and work ( repco ) cant get them for me , using the tacho to tell me speed at the mo

He works from home so if you ring him he first you can often go in the evening. Very good mechanic, one of very few I would let work on my bike.

there was a time you could get just inners, or partial cables.... but with the 'modern' spares system, either a s/hand one which to be honest will be of dubious condition..unless you KNOW it comes off a very low K's bike... you'll have to buy a new one at jap prices........ sometimes they are not too bad, but???
