    Yamaha DX100

There's a cool looking little DX100 on TardMe
    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-457111230.htm

Can anyone tell me anything about them? I want a tiny little classic style toy for a giggle or two.
    I know (think) they're a 52mm bore, so I don't think RD200 pistons will fit?
Piston kits seem uber cheap anyway, around 15-20GBP + shipping.

My real question is, what else ran the same motor? I know there was a YD 100, but I'm also sure that was a 4T?

    Help?

I'm not sure if I want it for that I want something that size/era and all the CB125/175s are too pricey in comparison.

Can't seem to see any info on it?

My limited research seems to point to it being the same motor as the YB100 and same piston as the RS200
I'll be looking further in to this, I have been told by the lovely lady at AA that it'll go under classic rego too

It's listed RX DX in the third column of 2 t's, maybe worth checking the bikes either side of it, seems to be a whole family. I suspect there will be a lot of those wee engines lying around somewhere. Reminds me of the wee fizzy when I was a yoof.

Sadly there's no info if you click the link.

Have just been on eBay looking at parts then checking part numbers and you're right, they are a family engine and the parts are immensely cheap and common.
The biggest reason for this is I just found uber rust in my shitheap Corolla and a nice little bike will be cooler anyway!
It'd cost me under $100 to rebuild it not excluding machining if it needs it (I know a guy in Feilding who should be able to help there)

I'll try check it out ASAP (if it's fucked, I think it's yellow enough to be made in to a banana cake)
