i think maybe chris made the mistake some others have, if you look up the top left of any of my posts you will note it says CBR250.
    i ride a 250.
My opinons were voicing an opinion for my safety an safety of other 250s,

i was not trying to scare away others entering on 250s, as he may have thought. i was at his last one an the ""slow"" group were going fast on mighty big bikes. not 250 friendly so i did not enter.

If that is true, then Chris or whoever was running the day had a responsibility to do something about it. At our track days there are different classes from slow to race but all riders have to follow the same rules - NO passing the lead bike (the rider is a club member and wears a fluoro vest so you can't miss him), no dangerous overtaking, etc. In the past we have had riders who have missed their class (say the fast or medium class) going out and who have decided to go out in the slow class to get in more track time. If we notice them going at a faster pace (or if they pass the lead bike) or trying to intimidate other riders, they are told that is their riding finished for the day.

A well-run track day should be enjoyable for everyone who takes part and if their track days are not run like this (I can't speak from experience, I've only ever taken part in ours), then I would give them a miss.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

The race class would not have had a lead rider as it would prove to be a challenge on it's own to lead racers around a race track. Plus the racers are usually all hard arse bastards so overtaking up from the inside with-in elbow to elbow proximity is all cool as well.

But yea for roadies, they usually bunch them up in slow to fast groups and they usually have no passing from the left, no wheelies and so and so forth rules, which are there for the safety of everyone else.

I, for one had your meaning arse-backwards, so maybe Chris does too.
Perhaps you should PM him and direct his attention to your post.

Yeah, sorry, slight mistake there - I mean to say all the classes all have a lead rider except the race class! But in that class they are all racers and I don't think any typical road riders would be keen to ride with them - it wouldn't be any fun being lapped on the first circuit...

    Short background.

Mikey and I have not always seen eye to eye. After he mentioned my name in something that had nothing to do with me on New Years eve (I can't remember the post, someone will find it) I threatened to punch his ugly head in. He really pissed me off.

Then, for some fucked up reason, I actually wondered if he was a "troll" or really didn't know better. I found out some personal details of his (don't ask me how) so I knew what I was dealing with, then sent him a polite PM, inviting him to a New Years Eve party I was attending. Mikey accepted, something I found very weird given we'd both just threatened to knock the shit outta each other should we ever meet.

He was at the meeting point, he was courteous, polite and thankfull of meeting somone willing to get to know him. He really didn't understand why everybody thought he was a wanker.

At the KB trackday, I was PMed by an upstanding KBer, wondering who the hell this young wanker was and should he be allowed to attend. I responded that I'd stake my reputation on it and that Mikey would be fine. True to form, Mikey attended and was nice as pie, 3/4 of the attendees didn't even know who he was, nor did they care.

On track, Mikey followed the rules more closely than anyone else in attendance, giving people more space than they deserved and sacrificing his own enjoyment of the day for the benefit of others.

Think of this, we're a diverse group, there's alot of fuckwits, and almost everything you see online is not as it seems.

Chris, I know the little fucker rubs you the wrong way, I've experianced the same frustration, but I'm willing to bet my K3, you let him atted, he'll behave so well you'll wonder if the little cunt even turned up.

And Mikey, shut your fucken cakehole!

Well, I have been directed to this post (after being told by PM that I was probably sucking on Big Dave's cock!). Haven't checked out the poll results yet either.

Mikey, your initial attitude was one of recklessness in my opinion. Frosty was organising the KB'ers who were attending and I told him of my feelings. He explained that you were OK in 'real' life, trouble is you then spouted off at me in an unpleasant way. It wasn't called for and I haven't slung any mud your way. Your attitude was not one that we wanted to see at a track day. It is not a personal vendetta, as you would like it to be by the sounds of it, it was just a decision I made to protect the integrity of our track days.

If you turn up at KR with an ego, it is usually about 2 days before you lose it. There are people here who have seen it, done it and got the T-shirt, you can't bullshit them.

If you want to turn up at Manfeild on the 4th, do so. I am not gonna guarantee you an entry by any means, but come and find me, I am not hard to spot, 6 foot and 100kg and I also speak with a pom accent. If you are who a lot on here say you are, then an apology would be nice and there may be room in the novice class for you on the day. Your call.

That is the last on the subject for me, I have to go and be beaten now as punishment for losing a contributor.

not trying to be a smartarse, just an outsiders opinion, but wouldnt you think that an organiser would:

    1. Want as many people as possible to attend an event; and

    2. Realise that not everyone is Valentino Rossi and Nicky Haydens bastard love child; i.e. that there are riders of various abilities out there; thus

    3. Organise perhaps self selected groups, with all riders of nominated groups on track at once: example: I am a novice or I am slow: I am group A. Rules for Group A are that there is no passing EXCEPT ON THE STRAIGHTS. (not hard at Manfield).

Group B is for more experienced riders. In Group B, passing in corners is allowed but only on the outside.

Group C is open. Pass anywhere.

If I (the organiser) see someone who, in my sole opinion, is behaving like a dickhead, endangering themselves or someone else, then I will black flag that person. If they dont stop, the whole day is shut down.

    How hard could it be.

I dont see how calling people names, and making judgments about their riding based on their internet postings is constructive.
