To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Save your shekels and buy a new one. Hmmmm...

They're bloody nice. Like a cross between an XJ900 and a VFR800, but better if you get my drift.
Are you looking at an ST or an RS? The RS is a bit "daggy" compared to the ST, but only having a half fairing means less crash damage in the event of the unthinkable.
The new one has a 1050cc engine and has styling to die for. The rear end is a bit fussy, but I still like it.

the sort of bike meybee would suit a bloke who likes to scare sportbike riders?

If I'd been sensible I should have been buying one of these instead of the R6, but I'm a mid-life crisis kinda bloke so it had to be a sports bike![]()

I have a review on buying a used Sprint, they rank them as a damn good bike. No big problems. Engines should be loud but not rattly. Little bit of vibration is normal. There are 4 recalls that effect the sprint, stickers for the recalls will be under the seat ? Recalls are related to fuel line connector, fuel gauge sender,
rear wheel brg, and clutch cable. (this is a Aussie mag but should apply here)
The RS is lighter due to its spartan design. But the mag basically claims they Are good. They compare well with the VFR 800.
The ussual story with regular servicing, plus every 20,000 km major service due.
If you want to borrow the mag, no problem.
>>Farewelling the Co-pilot to see her folks meant an opportunity to swap ST’s. The ST Honda was replaced with bikescape’s Sprint ST.
She asked me ‘How was the Sprint?’ when we got back home.
I said ‘I want one’
She said ‘you say that every time you ride one’
‘yeah…I know’
The ST is a great bike, plenty fast and the fuel injected triple is a gem, an all round sweet ride, comfy, good brakes, tips in, looks sharp and had enough carrying capacity to live out of for a few days.
