Wanted: Broken 450 or similar

Trying to get a dirt bike sorted for some training. Had a go on a new RMZ450 from TSS Redbaron and loved it so have to find a way to get onto a dirt bike again....

Looking for a 450 with a blown engine for around 1000-1500. That about what they have been going for on Trade Me if you can find them.

I can build the engine, id have to rebuild any S/H bike I purchased so might as well buy one thats broken for cheap!

So if you have something or know of something laying around for cheap let me know

Yeah mate for sure, bike was dropped off on Friday. Its now in about a million bits!! I suppose thats what you get for $1500..... New bearings here and there, piston and rings, fork seals and ill be away! It wont be pretty but it will be solid

Just givin it a tidy up, new piston and rings, fork seals, brake pads, linkage bearings etc

Work in progress but it should be ridable for Round 1 of Taupo

your maths is bad, its 17 years, good luck riding that at taupo tho, had a ride of an 04 KX250 on friday at woodhill, was fun to ride them again,

Im riding support class so shouldnt be too bad....

Got to figure out what helmet to use, has to be either the old Arai MX Pro or the Bell Moto 5 Kiedrowski rep haha

The 04 would have been real nice, its still got a modern feel
