Riding with no shoes

I was in my cage when I saw this girl on her scoot wearing not very long shorts,and only jandals,I was actually shocked. I would never get on any scooter or bike with Jandals,you could end up with mutilated legs/foot.


It was a 09 150cc Piaggio Fly,not a slow 50cc Scoot.

People don't give a second thought that their ankles and legs are important to their everyday life. Its a shame as its only when things are gone that we appreciate them.

You don't need a "dead cow head to toe" to prevent most of the road rash ... but even small amounts can ruin your day. AND IT HURTS ... (scar's are cool eh !!!)

but she is not going to crash so why wear anything but jandals? The thought does not enter scooter rider's head that they will get hurt, it's just like riding a pushbike, hence those that wear cycle helmets.
