It had ring grooves on the pistons but I didn't see any rings go on.

Looks like it was all manually done too! Bloody impressive. I got the CNC to spit out an 18cc V8, but gave up on the valves.

have you guys seen this? took it a step further. made a complete car with working gear box/clutch etc and runs on petrol. So cool..
