Thanks for the update guys, yes I have been wondering too, great to hear from you too Stonechucker, your doing really well.

I've been having trouble keeping up with posts and people while doing Defensive driving course and working late preparing for full license test next thursday.

    Thanks guys.

Thanks for the update Dave, it's good to hear from you.

Is the skin graft your last operation, or will you have to go in for more?

it is amazing that we do that..

wonder what or how a complete "stranger" that we know is getting on, reading Riff raff's post it suddenly dawned on me that i had been thinking the same...

i have meet SC only a couple of times and he probably doesn't know me from a bar of soap... but the fact that he is a member of this group, makes him seam almost like a brother...
i only wish that i was living closer so that i may have the chance to go around and tickle his toes..

good to see that you are on the ment buddy!!

see ya on the track again some where soon eh..

Only God knows... Hopefully no more operations. I'm so tired and drained I'm not sure I can endure another op

    Have lots more tests though
ct scans, mri scans, blood tests, scar revision for the grafted leg (to minimize the scar after the graft has healed)
and the batle to get my haemoglobin up a little more.

Thanks for the kind thoughts Ajturbo, I think the feeling is mutual for all/most KB members

Slipstream! You said you wouldn't tell!!!hehe
A BIG thankyou to the visitors I had last night. I won't go into too many details but basically I have to go to bed around 10:30, they all left Welly and got slightly lost and got here around 10:25. They only stayed for about 5 or 10 mins! Thanks for the huge effort, it is SO appreciated I almost can't describe. Like you said, see you all again on SAT hopefully.

    Dave

Welcome back Dave, take care mate. All our thoughts are with you
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

It's good to hear from you again, Dave. Hope you continue to improve rapidly.

I might be talking crap (and probably am), but from my experience in hospital, keeping mobile and getting whatever exercise you can cope with help you recuperate quicker.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
