Im thinking maybe rs250 may not drop alot since they are hard to find in good condition and a more desired bike.
I think any of the better condition 2ts will hold value reasonably well. But yeah, the RS is the coolest of the lot anyway

get the cbr mate, they are extremely well made, and much better for a learner than a 2stroke.

you wanna be able to ride the bike, not keep in the garage replacing pistons.

although if you want a crash course in rebuilding engines, a 2 stroke is the way to go

Cbrs are very fast in the right hands.

Question to all yo haters, what 250cc 4cylinder 4 stroke can you get other than an early 90's cbr/zxr/fzr etc? ohhhhh wait thats right YOU CANT. So shut your ignorant little mouths. The reason they are still crazy popular, is that they are the best 4stroke 250 you can get.

because u will learn alot more about motorcycles in general.. Look at all your pros.. rossi, pastrana, stoner, reed, the lot. Whatd they start on!!! 2 strokes!!!!!! You may have hassles here and there but you will learn alot more about motorcycles overall as a whole before you go back to lumpy 4t's. Trust me. Otherwise just be like everyone else get urself some shitty cbr or ex250... not have a clue what your doing on a motorcycle and just ride around thinking you know what your doing but really you dont. get a fancy exhaust thats meant to add more horsepower but really just a sound effect that makes you feel like your going faster. We've all being down this road before. And my advice is start of with a wreck of a bike wether it be 2t or 4t then you choose.

yeaa, some good opinions coming through now haha

your new to bikes - so you want to get a 2 stroke 'cause if you can learn to ride one well and get the most out of it. You will be a better rider for the rest of your life no matter if your 2t or 4t..

rebuilding them is fun, look up my thread. and it keeps them alive and in mint cond. they dont make 2ts anymore. A dying breed. flag save the whales or the rain forrest. Save the 2t

hornets are good bikes too, if you want a more open / upright style.
