Smokeu ? Hello, i'm one of them Harley riding ffff(nah can't say that) riders you speak of ! Come say it to my face, challenge me to a race, walk up and smash me, whatever, but lol stop watching south park you loser ! Jeeeesus kaff you come here and it still aint good enough for ya lol, you should be buried in a sweato slum !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Hey SmokeU: You know why Cantabrians get earthquakes?
    Because they deserve them.

And by the sounds of things, a few peeps could do with a first aid course. I did a refersher a while ago, and they touch on how important compressions are, and how severe you have to be. none of this pansy pump then breathe crap. They deal with bikers, heart attacks, all sorts.

    I think a refresher would be good, It's been a while !

But the older i get, the more i think my time would be better spent on critters i think are more worthy !

Bit of a whisperer he is and have saved a couple of amimals that near croaked ! Amazing how that same info you speak of, can be used elsewhere !

There are the odd times where i'd think twice before helping humans, never would i think twice to help a 4 legged critter !

Hmm, that reaction will result in me wearing my pudding-bowl helmet and skull mask all the more...can't risk SOMEU recognising me...

And if you're worried about safety you wouldn't ride a motorbike at all eh!

So you think that a cheap disposeable bike made by manuifacturers that dump low cost products on a market is the way to go, more fool you.

I used to work at the UK Road and Transport Research Lab oddly enough in the MC helmet division. We were sent helmets from recent crashes- just as they started to smell from the human bits inside them. You don't want to use an open face helmet, even for slow town riding - EVER

At least the Japanese don't still make 40 year old bikes with a few modern features such as EFI and ABS to keep the greenies happy, and sell them for the same price as a high end Japanese bike.

    I prefer full face.

The anonymity makes me feel like a ninja.

That and open face helmets on the track generally a There is some exceptions of course.

I can't see half a sphere, protecting your dome BETTER than half a sphere with an extra bar across the front of it.

Not to mention that they are built to keep fuckwits off Harleys ! Not that it helps much cause there are so many idiots on em now days that i couldn't spot someone like you out of a crowd of em !

Make your own decision based on the facts as you perceive them. There's no need for this to turn into brand bashing or bashing other people's choices. Every bike ever made is awesome. All of them, even the Chinese ones the break when you sneeze at them, because they have two wheels, fall over when you don't hold them up somehow, and all the people who can't conceive of enjoying anything that stretches boundaries like a Type 2 on the Bristol Stool scale after a 1kg steak stretches your rectum, HATE you for having fun doing something they think is instantly fatal.

    Now.

I doubt that someone who isn't able to figure out such an obvious answer for themselves would be able to properly interpret answers from others.

When I had my accident four years ago, part of the chin bar of my full face helmet was ground down paper thin. Superbly happy that it wasn't my jawbone......
