    US motorcycle forums

Anyone else find the intellectual level on many U.S motorcycle forums disturbingly low.
I am constantly amazed by the volume of stupid questions on some of the forums i frequent.
Most of these questions can be answered by looking at your bike, the owners manual or by having a bit of a think about it before posting.
For example- "should I drain my fuel tank or fill it up before I store my bike for a week!"
"The manual says to use 87 octane gas, what octane gas should I be using?"
" The tank is supposed to hold 4.2 gallons but I can only ever put 3 gallons in it. What is going on?"
" I have bought the just released new model of a not very popular bike, why isn't there any aftermarket parts available"

I found it amusing at first now I just get fucked off with it.
    What say you?

Yeh, they often manage to sign into other forums too; with the new even more powerfull ZXZZRRR1237 it is thought the problem will resolve itself shortly.

SFA TBH, although I'm on a classic honda forum, rather than a new squidly (CBR600RRRRRRRRR) one, which may make a difference?

I read the odd funny question on some US sites, mostly coming from new riders.
But what I don't see much is the constant slagging off of the kind that this site is so well known for.
I know several people that when you mention KB to them, just roll their eyes and say don't bother, it's full of teen age trolls and gutless Mods.
This thread is a prime example.

So you're a teenager then, or just a troll?

Its on another level to this place, you can never tell here as people are always taking the piss. These other forums seem very earnest places not much poking of fun or trolling all very serious. Its a bit sad really.
