There are obviously some pretty big misconceptions relating to electronic aids on here....
They are minor aids.... They dont solve stupid hamfisted inexperieced problems
I'm conflicted about electronics. ABS might have saved me quite a bit of pain from one crash on oil/diesel. I miss the early 990 motogp days before they got TC sorted. Learners definitely need to learn manual TC at least until electronics are perfect and totally reliable.
Relying on electronics instead of skill is more what he's talking about I think. People don't learn when they've got a nanny looking after them all the time. The majority of the time it's far better to rely on the riders skill and knowledge. Electronics are there for the times when conditions are unexpected, eg fluid from another vehicle on the surface.
Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity
ABS wont save you if you hit oil or diesel neither will traction control
"The limit is your's amd your's only".......yeah Simon - I think most of our limits are rather lower than your's........I sure as hell know mine are, although, great advert.

Kinda strange to think I have been listening to someone who believes aliens brought people to earth and blew them up in volcanoes (keith code).
Sounds like I might have to buy this dvd. Is it available in NZ or online only?
