Nice one Nordie, this one slipped under my rally radar. Will keep an eye on the results

And you call yourself a KTM rider

Good thing they don't read KiddyBiker in Mattighofen or they'd send the heavies over to repossess the beastie

Of all the different types of bike riding on either road or off road, for me, the sight of a rally bike going hardout over rough terrain blows me away the most. Watching the suspension working its guts out, the siloutte of bike and rider flying over wild terrain, the dust being blasted up by the tyres ripping through the ground, the engine screamin like jimmy barns....awwwwwsome!!
    ....wherezz that track go

I used to ride a yz400, & a cr250 back in the day, but was won over by the thump of the XR over the falseto of the 2 smokers

    Daily video highlights here:
    http://www.desafiolitoral.com/en/dakar-challenge-2/

Hmmmm, Chaleco on a KTM 450RR, what happened to his Aprilia ride?
Top four pretty much in the order you'd expect. Not too many other "big" names on the list, mostly Sth American locals.
Shitload of quads racing. Maybe the locals know something the others don't...........

    But he's riding for Bordone-Ferrari.
    It's almost a 450RR

It looks like Bordone-Ferrari aren't using their own bike yet?

    The v-twin quads sound good

Yup, Taddy DNF'd stage 2, crashed and hurt shoulder. Might start stage 3 pending his injury assessment.

Was raining in bucketfuls on yesterdays satge and it was shortened. Most riders crashed at some stage in the slippery conditions.
Despres leads from Jakob Przgonski and Chaleco 3rd.

See, I told you the quads knew what to expect
I gotta say, the track looks like fun through those tropical jungle roads.

That riding is a whole lot different from the DAKAR

    Looks like fun!
