    Balcairn Trail ride today

    Hi Guys

Had a good ride today at Balcairn, 6 enduro loops, 23.30 km including the enduro loops, not sure what the main loop was by it self.

There would have been at least 200 riders so good turnout.

Excellent ride, plenty of fun in the gully's and I am nucken fackered now, my bike did get a bit tired in a couple of spots and decided to have a wee lie down.

If you are thinking about going Monday then DO IT, other wise you will miss a good ride

I have attached a picture off fresh maps

Saw a lot of bikes on the way back from this as I was heading up to the Michael Godfrey, ah well the mighty IT200 is getting closer to being a runner, hopefully I might be out on one in a month or two

Was pretty slippery with a well worn front tyre and MT21 dual purpose rear, plus the weight of the 28l tank made it interesting will definately ride there again

Nice one and thinking about going for a squirt up there tomorrow.

What was the course like, eg mainly techincal in the trees etc or plenty of room to go fast... ?

I'd prefer the latter , riding a 500 2T and thanks in advance.

The main course is open and fast if you want, me I prefer to hide in the trees and gully's but plenty there for all riders

Yes if you are on a 500 2T you need open ground just open the throttle.

You will have a good day
