Seems you were asking a serious question, not taking the micky. I had the pleasure of doing a full throttle run through the gears on a near new ZX10R recently (the lastest model). The Owner told me the anti-wheelie was on low setting so I gather it can also be turned off. Anyway, in 3rd gear it started to lift the front smoothly and I resisted the instinct to back off a fraction, remembering the owner's word to just hold it wide open.

Wise move, the system slowly intervened and gently lowered the front, whilst not interrupting the full tit acceleration- it was awesome!

No idea, but I wouldn't be surprised if, even in palmy, there were a few such incidents

I know a dude who was in an incident that sounds suspiciously similar. Had his brothers wife on back of bike "changed down a gear and the front wheel just came up", she broke both her legs and he smashed his collar bone I think, ribs, lung etc..

I'd say it's a fairly popular way of getting rid of spare motorcycles.

Why don't you just ring a friggin dealer instead of big notin it here
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Double ouch, inflicting injuries to the sister-in-law might take the longest to heal! Does sound pretty similar though.

You see clutchitup, if you fuckitup, you get way more bad press for us bikers than if you doitright, so don't fuckitup!

Ruth rode on my motorbike directly behind me. I did a wheelie at the lights and rode on ruthlessly.

This is a passive system (and equipped to almost all of their bikes since the early 90s), and some might say not as good as the likes of BMW's electronic anti-wheelie control. However, the benefits of a passive system mean it is always in effect, and you do not have to worry about electricery taking control of the throttle at a bad time.

However, passive systems are a lot harder to disable than the electronic ones. For you to remove the effects of KMOS, you will have to modify a lot of the components, including the engine, frame, fairing, wheels, brakes, and other parts too numerous to mention. If you look up 'Shervin', he is a pioneer on the removal of the KMOS system, although I think he used a ZX10 the principals are similar. Or even kb's own Ducatilover has done extensive work in this field as well.
I am well and truley familiar with this system, I cannot go in to specifics due to a legally binding agreement between myself and the KMOS developer.
What I can say, is I did overcome the KMOS system and the ASRCD (Anti-Squid-Rider-Control-Device) and the results were spectacular.

As long as you signed the test ride form like everone else, of course I would. I'm one of the only people I know that wrote a bike off on a test ride! And the car I 'T' Boned.
