I finnaly got my CBR running. And shit it goes (it should after the million dollar porting i had done)

It turns out the guy before me replaced the spark leads.

but when he did it, He put the numbers in the wrong place.

No i am not making excuses for my mistake. ( a silly one at that!!)

but thanks to dave freeman for coming and sorting it out for me.

Oh did i mention it goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome news mate, I can remember similar experiences from when I was your age, fucken exhilerating isn't it? 16yrs old and getting around on a CBR250R, fuck when I was 16 I had to nick my brothers GSX250 (think 1984 model), at 18 my first real road bike was an ancient 1983'ish GSX750, but fuck it went.

Live it up mate, but take care out there.

    cheers OAB

    and D-L

yea they say thay are 45 hp standard, but i think its all shit. It always is when it comes to HP.

as i said. Its tachinally a brand new engine with porting. So i think it will be about 40hp

40hp seem enough to move you though hahahaha i was looking at a cbr250rr or two in the palmy honda shop and next time im over there i may take one for a fang i'll ride it hard and see how well they go, ive riden a zxr250 and they tootle along rather well and it just sounds sooooo kewl pulling 19500 rpm in an enclosed area [victoria tunnel ] but the bros makes my crack a fat anywhere

    Arrow Well done RG100

Good to see you figured it out in the end.

Good work matey. Glad to see you are back on a good bike.

BTW the revs should cut out at 18500rpm (I think) and the bike will be making 38hp at most. Mines a bit of a freak at 46, but thats cuase of some previous work
