Probably, All I remember was tunnel vision on the long straight south of Reefton. No cars around and the throttle wide open. We were getting pretty up there
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

An RF900 is capable of pretty close to those sort of speeds I would've thought.

I would have thought it would be capable of pretty close to those speeds too, on a good day 1-up without everything but the kitchen sink.

From memory they're a tad short on gearing. May still get close two up.

    265km/h top speed according to factory spec. 160mp/h = 257 km/h
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Yea I did the same when I first got mine down the Ramarama straight on the Southern motorway (Auckland)..........5km's long, perfect spot for going flat out. Laid on the tank & went for it, great fun!
