MR had 3 ZXR400's over time......
See your point, I was pretty keen on a ZXR400 until the Hyosung/SV caught my eye.... the only probs with 400's are they are a bitch to sell, as I've seen a few on sale for months. There are enough guys who know their stuff (decades of serious biking) who recommend both getting a 400 and an equal number who say get a 600.....Way i see it i would rather take it a step at a time. All the bike shop ppl have said about the jumps they have taken... and as i am sometimes a slow learner i will benefit more from incremental (sp) steps than just going "oh yeah baby give me a 750 homologation race bike anyday" - i like riding, i really enjoy it, but i cant if im dead
No he was not a knee down guy - 2inch pukpuk strips...
as for the old guy on the BRONZ course.... the blackbird is a sports tourer like the ZZR1200 and busa, yes they are fast when you want them to be, but they are also able to used purely for cruising too, im sure he aint a knee down rider...
I would like a SV/Hyosung - just like I'd like an agusta.... but honestly at $10k
In reality I can't see myself looking past a ZseXR 400. (Recommended Bike by Frosty/MR).
Take one for a ride they are reallllllllllyyyy nice (well suited me at least in terms of ergonomics) - should suit you too I guess maybe if you lowered the pegs - maybe, as you're on the tall side.
