Kevin Ash is a good bike journo.....I commuted 105 km each way for 3 years including M25...the bike took 75 mins consistantly, the car 75-180 mins typically 120 mins. Most bike riders know that the commute is quicker by bike, most cage drivers know and are jealous

Having commuted by both and appreciating the very marked difference it is especially hurtful to not be able to ride now! Only the MX5 can come close to being able to get through traffic on four wheels but nothing compares to a bike.Originally Posted by bluninja

Then the govt could make up some shit excuse to up acc again and the extra revenue from that would offset the losses from people stopping smoking. Seems to me info like this says motorcyling should be encouraged with cheaper rego's not discouraged like it is at the moment.
