I say we start strapping metal bars to our bikes so we can smash their fucking wing mirrors when they get too close.

I think it would be easier to learn to use your rear view mirrors. And usually ride fast enough to not be over taken.... say about 2 seconds faster than the car behind you........

However - I think Spank is onto a better idea.....

a gyroscopically stabalised 50 cal mount on the pillion seat would be good, or fucking go all out and strap one of these puppies on

KNow what you meant Jonno - and you are absolutely correct......

But what can we do (apart from the steel rods and opening doors and kicking mirrors and denting... )..........

A 6inch nail works, but it sounds as though you were after something slightly more high-tech.?

Yep, get an M82 Barett, set up camp a kilometer away from the motorway, and observe who shouldn't be allowed to drive...

I was half way through taking a corner when the stupid bitch decided she take it to without indicating (i had been indicating for a previous 3 seconds as required by law)
Then she had the decency to scream at me for endangering the life of her kids!!!!!!!!!

I alternate between wrist vs wing mirror and toe-slider vs door/guard. Never quite hung round long enough to see the overall effect on the driving behaviour and/or vehicle, but it makes me feel better.
