Places to ride in BOP?

Hi all, Im looking for places to ride and people to ride with. Im keen on trail rides and trying to get into MX and FMX if anyone is keen to take an extra rider or has any suggestions of places to ride around Whakatane or BOP district would be cool. cheers

Maddix Park http://www.maddixpark.co.nz - 100% clay so a disaster when wet, but they're open most days when dry.
There is also an MX track just inland a few KM from Matata but can't think of the name...?
Tect Park http://www.tectallterrainpark.co.nz/ Tauranga MCC has started to build a track up here
Bay Honda trail rides, Mimiha Rd just past Matata - I rate these rides & really enjoy them. One saturday per month
Tarawera rides http://www.ttbrc.co.nz/ - very popular rides that are well run
Pirini's Track - closed for winter now but open again in Sept. usually every second weekend. Kind of like a 20km long motocross track
Rotorua MCC - http://www.rmcc.org.nz/ - sometimes do trail rides too

The Awakaponga track is run by the Bay Of Plenty Motorcycle Club, commanly reffered to as the Whakatane track, and home of summer cross
