    Woodhill Two-Man Round 1, 3 June

Well those of you that did this series last year have probably forgotten how much fun you had (or how sore you were the next day)in this 3 race series.

This Sunday 3rd June is the first round for 2012. A little early this year for the first round (Rd 2 is in August with a trail ride in July) as other events jumped into the dates we normally have. Still, the location up the top of South head is probably the best riding in Woodhill and the 17 km loop we have for the seniors and 7km for the Juniors are just just "O" for orsum.

I managed to do a quick (as in I had time to do it) lap yesterday and did it in 24 minutes so its quite a quick track for Woodhill. I'll be adding another 5 minutes to the track tho to give close to 30 min laps.

Juniors and Novice ladies jump the blocks at 0900hrs and Seniors at 1200hrs. Allow an extra 10-15 minutes for travel.
There is nothing hard on the tracks as they are similar in nature to the Top End trail ride tracks from last year.

So if you have never raced cross country before a reminder that this is a fun event and the ideal way to start you racing.

That there was, but unfortunately I was not one of them.
Had a ride to forget, note to ones self, don't do firewood the day before.
I had massive arm pump by half way through the first lap and it went downhill from there.
even my camera was looking at the ground by the end.

But yes big up's to all that made it a great track (even the new forest part) and day.
