I have a 2005 XT660X. It wont blow you away with its power and its too heavy to be considered a motard but it can still be a lot of fun in the twisties and it makes a great commuter. I have done 35000 trouble free k's on mine. It has Leo Vince slip-ons and DNA stage 1 and 2 filters which give it a bit more grunt.

the xt660x is 2006,orange and black and done 6500 kms.The guy wants 7900 for it.
Is this value for money.
The drz has 11000 kms,2008 and he wants 6100.

Stock, the DRZ400SM is anaemic and boring.
Open the airbox, add a free-flow exhaust, big bore kit and FCR carb and its an absolute cracker!
Or, you can buy the Xt660 for going to the shops.

DRZ with basic mods all the way-unless you are touring lots of straight open road. $6100 for an 08 sounds a bit steep unless it is a minta with extras.

it is the sm model with no mods. Plenty of mod parts on trade me at the moment

3x3airbox mod and k&n filter, full system exhaust, carb rejet,case savers and decent tyres are all you need. The rest is just fun to buy. Bargin hard.
