    Busted speedo

I changed my break pads on my front wheel the other day and when I put my sending unit for my speedo back on I didnt line the lugs up properly ( by accident ), resulting in my confusion when my speedo stoped working, Check the cable and it was sweet, took the wheel off and found metal shavings for Africa

long story short, Fucked up putting speedo on and stripped it, Any pro tips for fixing with out paying for a new one?

Think of it as a really, really complicated jigsaw. Get some superglue and prepare to spend many an hour rebuilding it.

    God Speed man.
Rest in peace Tony - you will be missed.

no. but perhaps your neighbor might not notice if you removed it from his bike...

what you're looking at is a worm gear and pinion, hopefully the worm gear isn't part of the cable assembly, if it is, then new cable for you, if it isn't, pull it off and go find a replacement,
pinion may be OK (hopefully it ate the worm gear) elsewise, off to find a new one of them, too...
