Great clips indeed thanks but definitely not 1969 as I was there and Malcolm Uphill won the production TT on a Thruxton Bonneville! Agostini won the 500 class. Still have the programme with all the entrants and their bikes

Well I'm not going to argue with someone who was there at the time I've never been it's on my list of things to do before I die. Thats a great picture by the way looking very sharp!

Doubt whether Ross Hannan shares your opinion, he got badly mashed in a multi-bike crash at Union Mills in a mass start race in 1970, poor bugger. I think the joint's probably tricky enough without factoring traffic into the equation...

It's nice to be back on a Triumph though after a gap of around 40 years, even if I can't pull the chicks as per photo!
