    Haha going off over at Vitalmx.. More wisdom!

    "I'm really getting a kick out of all the jokers saying how stupid the air fork is because "we tried that in the 70's." That's kind of like saying the fuel injection on the 57' chevy sucked so why would we try it again in 1989............

    .......and who buys something performance oriented based on looks........? Its like a clown festival in here.

    Btw......I think the bike looks great, but I guess I'm easy......I never saw a race bike I didn't like."

    Yeah that twin pipe always made me thought of a wheelbarrow....

    Some interesting concepts on that bike though. The look of it grows on you.

    I'm liking the number boards where they meet the rear guard etc.

    Looks pretty good. I'm not too worried about the air shocks as I would never buy a bike new, usually go 2-3 years old.
    - 1. they're about a third of the price of new;
    - 2. If some piece of design goes pear shaped someone else finds out about it so I don't have to;
    Then again I'm only an amateur and I think my winning or losing is done more in my skills or lack of than the abilities of the bike I'm on.
    Smoke 'em if you have 'em

    If you ca arrange a heat trasfer from a small mass to a larger one ( internal air to fork surface ) keeping the temperature constant then air as a spring meadium is OK ( not the best choice as we have said )

    for a 20 min moto, it may start fading towards the end or not get pushed hard enough to fade by the average weekend warrior ( either way the laws cannot be broken pv/t = k ( combined gas law)

    IF it doesnt fade too much due to design , all I can say is , for you and me at the sunday track ..we can tweak and fiddle untill our hearts are content ...that has to be a bonus ( seals?)

    I see a lot of plusses , older ones with pitted forks ....well

    As for noise ..those mufflers are the future , tracks are ( and should ) get tough with noise ..so watch those mufflers get bigger and longer , and dont be surprised if they end up with catalytic converters .... yes

    cant wait for feed back from , people who earn thir living on it .....NOW THIS IS A WEAPON......

    cant show you the other one its top secret , im afraid of my compeditors seeing it before the end of june ! ( next race )

    Its amazing how much lighter Hondas bikes are compared to the others, and every year getting lighter!

    Can't wait to ride this bike. Looks like a bike a lot of riders will enjoy and will save money on getting forks resprung for those that aren't in the target weight for the factory setup.

    I lernt to ride on a CT125 farm bike with a steel seat because the cows ate the cover, That was big heavy, slow and uncomfortable so i know exactly what it was like. Bikes didn't go as fast back in the day and the penalty for over jumping one of the largest jumps on the track just doesn't compare to the massive jumps these days.

    this one is heavier than the 2012, even with the air fork,

    The Single cam engine is a big factor in the lighter weight

    I've never seen inside a single cam Honda CRF engine. But won't it run rockers? If so...I would've thought they'd negate the other cam?

    yeah they do, but the casting and supports are alot smaller, if you have a look at the size of the top of the CRF motor compared to the twin cam motors of the other brands there is a heap more metal in there,

    Motocross Action had a article with the true weights of all the bikes, 250F and 450F, it was interesting,

    That makes sense. It certainly is the conehead of motocross bikes.
