    tyre size for fireblades?

what year was the fireblade given a 17inch rear and 16 front?
and also when did they go to 17 front and back?
are the bikes pretty forgivving to ride?
as in the mags they say user friendly but what about people who ride them here , what do they think of them?

2000 WAS THE FIRST 17". THE 16" IS OK THEY CAN JUST HAVE A TUCK IN FEELING BUT THIS CAN BE MORE THE TYRE SHAPE THAN THE SIZE, THE ROLLING RADIUS OF THE 16 AND 17 INCH IS ABOUT THE SAME .
DONT GET THE 98 OR 99 IF YOU RIDE HARD THEY ARE SHIT BIKES.
I HAD A 96 WITH AN NC 30 RIM ON THE FRONT SO I COULD FIT A 120/70/17 , THE ONLY REASON IS TO INCREASE YOUR TYRE CHOICES BE THEY SECOND HAND OR NEW

yip just sold my 929 2000 blade.2000 was first of 17inch and fuel injection. i hit engine casing down and became a mere pasenger for a bit but then gripped up and was all good i found it very forgiving but with a reminder that i was on a 1000(sorry 929)now and again.
