    I did a ground up resto on one of these Lavs and did around 5000km touring around britain on it. Yes the handling is great! I think there are pics in My Albums?

    I just wanted to see what his reserve was: It looks like its round the $5750-$6k mark. Unfortunately I am not in a position to buy it at present the unanswered question is mine and says "Hmmmm reasonable" I have always liked them though. Someone has topped my last bid too.

    I liked the Ducati until it looked like it was 10k plus.....why bother starting at such a low price....anyway I no longer want it as its got the wrong front brake...

    By coincidence I saw the guy ride through Takapuna on the Laverda in the last couple of days. Sounded real nice.

    The Laverda went for 9K which is probably not unreasonable given that most other Euro stuff of the same era is heading over 10K.
    The Ducati is been offered out at $8.5 k.....fine if you need a bitza to go racing a few times a year....
