    whats the insurance like to have those two in the shop???? would have beef up the security i think.

    When I worked there we had one on display for a while. Put it this way, the bikes are basically theft proof themselves. The only purpose would be for one to go into an unscrupulous collectors hands.

    who wouldn't want one in there garage tho... even if it wasn't rideable..

    Don't know, but I saw in an Aussie mag about a year ago that they are worth about $500k. I thought they would be worth more.

    They might only be display for now, but money talks and if someone wave the right ammount of foldies, then he would walk out or ride out of that shop with either one or both of them

    Worth what somebody is prepared to pay for them..... Yup, if I won lotto, I would almost be prepaired to pay that much....

    I think they were worth 100-150K when they first came out. So 500K would be about right 20 years on

    As said previously, they are worth what someone wants to pay for them. There's no set price list, and as every Britten is different in either design or race/owner history no two bikes will ever be worth the same.
