    Quick thinking, Quickshifting?

    Hey Guys/Girls,

My names Josh and i currently race a 2008 zx6r in the F2/Supersport class of the Bridgestone Victoria Motorcycle Club Winter Series.

I'm going to try a bit of a social experiment as a bit of a bid for sponsorship.

I need $850 for a new quickshifter for my bike, to enable me to drop laptimes with easy gearshifting and smoother power delivery.... If 85 people donated $10, this would be easy. If 170 people donated $5 it would be easy for me, and easy for your bank account. If you are interested - send me a message. Every donation will get your name on the side of my bike for the rest of the season!

    Lets see how this goes

Dear Josh, no disrespect but you can go a fuckload faster than you are without a quickshifter.

Dear Josh, if everyone in the world sent me a cent, I would be a billionare.
Get a 2nd or 3rd job & learn about the relationship between hard work & income, as opposed to orchestrated begging.

Instead of a "social experiment" how about a practical one: plenty of people near you that could set your horn button as your QS. You just gotta spend a few bucks and no begging involved. Or do the legwork required to get a proper sponser. We all sell our kids, get a second job, do lots of overtime, or just plain go without stuff.

Cool Social Experiment, what else do you do for fun?
Seriously people on the hunt for someone to back them usually bother to have a bit about their background in the sport and the path that has led them to think they
A- need the particular goodies to improve and why this is the chosen path
B-they have done X amount to try and obtain it themselves but just can't quite manage it
C- what they can do for the people who do contribute (I note you have offered to put names on your bike here though)like race reports maybe focused on the results of getting product X

Good luck and grab some prozac ya might need it after putting a thread like this on KB

He's right... if you're running a power command it's just two pins on the 12 port connector that need shorting together.

Im going to try a couple of social experiments.

First I need new tyres for my bike. That's $500. If one person donated $500 this would be easy. If two people donated $250 it would be easy for me and easier on the bank account of the first person.

Second experiment is that I need a new 1199 Panigale. That is $50,000. But here is the best part. There are 2,874 active members on this forum. If you each donated, it would only cost you $18 which would be easy for me and easy for everyones bank account!

    This is a good idea,

I run an f1 sidecar, and as well all know the big slicks we run are over 500 a pop, thats 1,500 I need for new rubber. ontop of a quickshifter I already own but can't figure out how to install..

if everyone just donates 5 dollars (easy on your loaded wallets) I recon I'll be away and laughing! cheers guys!!

edit just noticed ur number 55.. awkward..

I'm 55, didn't think mnz gave out the same numbers twice. I'm having 55, u can be 55b or c or something haha

further edit, you're going to need my bank acc number to donate, so just pm for that.

Anyone wants to pass the bucket around for years worth of Rego for my big bike?
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

I find it sad that you think that begging is quick thinking.
