So would it make you feel any better if I said I went up and back on Emirates in first class and got to see 2 stages of the Tour De France too? It's a pain when they keep coming past with the 2003 Dom Perignon and refilling your glass....

Been a hell of a 10 day period as I literally went up and back for this.

The biggest shitter is that my new on bike camera played up and I got no HD footage on bike. I got some around the pits including some chick getting a photo shoot in front of the bike I was riding, and some low def on bike stuff with a borrowed camera.

Bike I was riding was very well set up Harris TZ350G (class winner at Phillip Island, Island Classic this year) and when I arrived it had a fresh top end and new tyres peeled on, all ready to go....just add gas.

Oh and the guys I was with (and who own the bike) who'd come across from the UK, were in the 4 hour endurance so had a F1 pit lane garage. So no slumming outside.

Let's just say, that at times I'm fortunate to be able to access discounted travel arrangements (otherwise I wouldn't be doin' it!) and I have some very nice friends in the UK who are happy to lend me a bike....
