thats a chopper not a cafe racer, cafe racers were the GSXR600's of thier day, bikes designed to look and go like the top race bikes of the day

    And a chain
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Below you will find a picture of a GN250 that I have hacked up. I have been fascinated by the look of choppers and bobbers. Im not likely to ride one but am interested in designing (in my mind anyway) a cafe racer style in the same vein. Now Im unlikely to want to build from scratch and have no experience in welding and fabricating (ok a little in fab) so I though of taking the venerable GN250 and bending a few bits and some minor welding. So I took a good image of a GN and manipulated it to see what it looked like.

So I think it doesnt look too bad. You have to imagine that you are sitting on it like a sports bike (pegs back not forward). The handlebars dont look quite right, they should be more forward.

Anyway, I was just playing. Wadda ya reckon?
Some people have far too much spare time on their hands.......

But 10 out of 10 for imagination......

Full marks for imagination. Have a few more lashes at it and be sure to post them here for us is you've got the time :
