Some people have far too much spare time on their hands.......At the risk of offending GN250 owners and chopper builders/riders alike I thought I would share what I have been mucking around with for the last half-hour.
Below you will find a picture of a GN250 that I have hacked up. I have been fascinated by the look of choppers and bobbers. Im not likely to ride one but am interested in designing (in my mind anyway) a cafe racer style in the same vein. Now Im unlikely to want to build from scratch and have no experience in welding and fabricating (ok a little in fab) so I though of taking the venerable GN250 and bending a few bits and some minor welding. So I took a good image of a GN and manipulated it to see what it looked like.
So I think it doesnt look too bad. You have to imagine that you are sitting on it like a sports bike (pegs back not forward). The handlebars dont look quite right, they should be more forward.
Anyway, I was just playing. Wadda ya reckon?
