    Smile Buckets in hawkes bay

Just a place for all racers and wannabe riders from the waipawa bucket racing track can converge...

The hillbilly deluxe has had major engine work for maximum power! Sporting new paint, suspension, rubber and having a fearless pilot means Roger, Mark and the others won know what hit them.

The moonshine special is a new bike to join the deluxe team, and has much potential.. go hard gook

GN1nitestand will be riding my hillbilly bike in the novice class, so to the school boys, im watching you... knock her off and im going to find you...

    Ride hard, Race harder!

    Arrow Used to have one

A YZ125 on a CB125 frame. Was hard to keep on two wheels...

mmmm may have to bring the Rossi special RD 50 out from retirement now the body has finally repaired itself from the Whakatu meet last year. Much to my Doctors horror.

It was one of the last at Whakatu , its staggaring how hard you can corner a little bike with squared off 15yr old 100% nylon Chin Shin tyres
Then I did find the limit and also Hondas ( at least I think it was a Honda) provide no mid corner traction at all

Good to hear Dave. We will take the trailer and pick you up. I will have a bit of work to get done before I can go in the morning but hope to get up early and get it done. Mary and Patrick can pick you up and I will ride the gixxer down a bit later. Want to ride down instead and send the bike with the boy?
Patrick has a few bits in Hamilton but will not get them down in time for the practise day. Enjoy your track day in Fielding. Darn I hate my job.........

I used to have a CB125 twin which I decked out like a Freddie Spencer superbike. Used to race it at Carrs Rd in ChCh.
Modded engine used to rev to 15,500rpm. With a barely silenced 2 into 1 it sounded awesome !!
Quite competitve with the 2-strokes too.
I'll post a pic when I get a chance of it.

This whole bucket idea could be seen as a momentary lapse of reason
